WINNERS REVEALED FOR THE WORLD’S FIRST
POKÉMON PRESENTS SUPER PET CONTEST

Celebrity Judge Michelle Visage Awarded the Cleverest, Coolest, and Cutest Animal Companions with Fabulous Pokémon Prizes

London, United Kingdom—16 November 2021—Today, The Pokémon Company International announced the winners of the Pokémon Presents Super Pet Contest in an exciting Winners’ Ceremony, hosted by Pikachu and our celebrity judge, the legendary Trainer Michelle Visage.
 
The popular contest—inspired by the Super Contest Shows featured in the upcoming release of the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl games, available 19 November 2021 exclusively on Nintendo Switch systems—saw over 30,000 entries of furry and non-furry animal friends in all shapes and sizes from the UK, the USA, France, and Germany. Following a public vote, which saw over 400,000 votes cast by fans around the world on the Pokémon Presents Super Pet Contest website, our expert panel of judges (including Michelle Visage) judged the entries and selected winners for each category to receive fabulous Pokémon prizes.

Trainer Michelle was on the lookout for loveable entries that showed CLEVER showmanship, COOL attitudes, and CUTE looks. Alongside competition winners from the UK, the USA, France, and Germany, participants from the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand also submitted photos of their beloved animal companions for a chance to be selected by Michelle Visage to be featured in the Winners’ Ceremony video showcase.
 
Speaking about the high quality of entries, Michelle added, “I know how important all of our beloved animal companions are—and looking at the gorgeous entries every day has been such a treat! I couldn’t have made my decision without the help of the voting public, so thank you all for showing these adorable contestants the love they truly deserve.”
