  • Just the beginning of a summer of Pokémon fun at the National Trust, with more family experiences to come later this year

Families across England and Wales are invited to step into the great outdoors this May Half Term as the National Trust launches a brand-new partnership with Pokémon, bringing the widely loved brand to National Trust places for the first time through a series of Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution Trails.

The partnership brings together the places the National Trust cares for and Pokémon’s spirit of play and discovery, helping more families feel welcome, confident and curious about exploring the outdoors together.

Exclusively designed for the National Trust, the Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution Trails run throughout May Half Term at 14 National Trust places, combining imaginative play with gentle physical activity inspired by Mega Evolution Pokémon.

Discover Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution Trails at the National Trust

The Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution Trail invites families into 14 National Trust gardens and parklands for a playful way to build confidence outdoors, enjoy fresh air and create shared family memories while searching for ten Mega Evolution Pokémon across ten trail points.

Each trail point features a simple physical or creative challenge inspired by different Mega Evolution Pokémon.

From showing courage and curiosity with Darkness-type Mega Gengar ex, to unleashing energy and imagination inspired by the powerful Firetype Mega Charizard Y ex, the trails blend imaginative play with gentle activity.

A trail sheet will help young trainers keep track of their discoveries and at the end of the trail, explorers can celebrate their achievement together with a photo opportunity at a Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution Trail backdrop.

About the National Trust
The National Trust is an independent conservation charity founded in 1895 to preserve historic and natural places in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and open them up for everyone to enjoy. 131 years later and that mission is still at the heart of what we do.
Over the next decade, our cause will be delivered through our People & Nature Thriving strategy. We have three ambitious goals: to restore nature - not just on National Trust land, but everywhere; to end unequal access to nature, beauty and history; and to inspire millions more people to care and take action.
With our 5.3m members, 40,000 volunteers, and our supporters, partners and communities, we collectively represent a cause that's bigger than just ourselves: it's about caring for nature and heritage everywhere, for everyone, for ever.
