- Visitors to the space can immerse themselves in the world of Pokémon Pokopia through a captivating garden aimed at providing a moment of calm for a busy day.
London, United Kingdom – 1 April 2026 - Today, The Pokémon Company International announced the opening of publicly accessible Pokopia Gardens to celebrate the recently released cosy life simulation game Pokémon Pokopia.
Landing in Acton, London from 31 March to 30 September, Pokopia Gardens take inspiration from Pokémon Pokopia. In the game, players are tasked with rebuilding the world into a Pokémon paradise to encourage Pokémon back into the area. The Pokémon Company International is recreating that concept for local communities in real life, providing beautiful Pokémon-themed paradises in public spaces.
The spaces feature a curated selection of flora alongside elements inspired by the game’s charming art style and familiar Pokémon friends, including “living walls” and Pokémon-inspired terrariums.
Created in collaboration with local organisations and businesses, these spaces will be open to the public for the next six months, encouraging people to come outside, enjoy their surroundings, and indulge in some Pokémon fun.
Speaking about the rejuvenation, Peter Murphy, Senior Director of Marketing at The Pokémon Company International said: “In Pokémon Pokopia, players create a Pokémon paradise which everyone can live in. We wanted to bring some of that same feeling of growth and brightness to real world communities, creating a space that is full of Pokémon Pokopia’s magic and open to all.”
Visitors to Pokopia Gardens are encouraged to explore the foliage to find Pokémon details integrated throughout. Trainers playing Pokémon GO will also be able to find new PokéStops and Gyms at Pokopia Gardens, available for the duration of the event.
